The Kent & Sussex Poetry Society

Hi all!

We are coming up to our next monthly meeting, and it will be similar to last month’s meeting. We’ll be announcing the the results of the members only Folio Competition, which was judged by Clare Best.

The winners of the competition will also be reading their poems as they are announced, so there will be no open mic this month.

As always, we’ll start at 8pm at Royal Wells Hotel in Tunbridge Wells. Don’t forget: entry is free for members of the Kent & Sussex Poetry society, and £3 on the door for non-members!

This year’s judge is Clare Best, a poet with many books, including her prose memoir The Missing List (Linen Press, 2018), the bilingual pamphlet End of Season / Fine di stagione (Frogmore Press 2022) and her third full collection of poetry Beyond the Gate (Worple Press 2023).
