The National Poetry Library based in London is a great resource, not only for the books and journals available on the shelves, but also as a source of information on poetry events, not least its regularly updated list of open poetry competitions.
Information about publishing opportunities is circulated in a number of places including:
- Robin Houghton’s regularly updated list
- Angela Carr’s regularly updated list
