Three Society Members Read their Poetry: Tunbridge Wells, 20th January

Every year in January, we start the year with a chance to hear three of our members read their poems. 2026 is no exception. Our meeting on 20th January will feature:

mulika ojikutu-harnett. A Lagos-born Nigerian with UK settled status, mulika was one of the winners of our 2025 Open Competition. An independent producer, transpersonal coach and psychoanalytic psychotherapist trainee, with poetry published in PERVERSE.

Mary Gurr. A prize-winning poet, Mary has published poems in many poetry magazines and an anthology of prose poems, and has an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Kent. 

Martin Cordrey,whose poems have been shortlisted for the Fish and Canterbury Festival anthologies, and included in Sunflowers: Ukrainian Poetry on War, Resistance, Hope and Peace and 3,651 YEARS LIVED: Global Poetry & Prose Reflecting the Pandemic.

There will be no Open Mic this month. Please come along and hear three wonderful poets at the Royal Wells Hotel, Mt Ephraim, Tunbridge Wells. Proceedings start at 8 pm.
