Happy Sunday!
Today, we’re excited to share an upcoming event in October that will include some of our lovely members: Phil Vernon, Jane O’Brien, Paul Robert and Amal Garnham.
This is an ekphrastic poetry event, where participants will write poems in response to art displayed at the Horsebridge Centre in Whitstable. There will also be an informal Q&A session with the artists’ whose work is on display at the exhibition.
What is ekphrasis poetry?
“Ekphrastic poetry is a literary form where poets respond to visual art, creating a dialogue between word and image.” – Marilyn Ramirez
This event will take place on Thursday 16th of October, running from 6pm to 7:15pm.
