Here are photos of some of our Kent and Sussex Society members reading at our meeting in August. A very pleasant evening, with time for browsing in the Oxfam bookshop as well as listening to a variety of poetry on the (very wide) theme of Words!
On Tuesday 16th September we begin our autumn programme with a first visit to Tunbridge Wells from Claire Trévien. Claire was brought up in Brittany, a fact reflected in her well-reviewed first collection, The Shipwrecked House. The evening begins at 8pm with readers from the floor. Please bring along a poem.
